Project Overview

Using a Sony SF7, the Uptown Studios Video Team worked with the Sacramento Regional Transit District to create a fun and engaging video for social media. Meant to educate teens about the “RydeFreeRT” program, the Video Team interviewed local teens about their experience using Sac RT. Wanting the overall imagery to celebrate Sacramento, this video was shot in five different locations from trains to busses and different transit stops.

Background

Shooting in a moving train presented many challenges to the team. Overcoming filming around bystanders as well as the natural noises of the trains made it difficult for the Video Team to achieve the shots they wanted. However, with some clever shots and patience, the Video Team was able to capture clear sound and cosmetic shots of the train and bus interiors. In addition, it was a pleasure working with the teen talent, they were local students who were enthusiastic about being in the project. Post-production was done in PremierePro, with some graphics created by the Uptown Studios Design Team.
