Having these goals written out as S.M.A.R.T goals will make it easier for your team to measure the success of these goals and it ensures that the goals are achievable. S.M.A.R.T stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

A campaign strategy provides a framework of guidelines for your team to follow throughout the campaign to make sure the marketing strategies you execute align with your overarching goals. This also includes background research related to your competitors, your target audience, and your brand as a whole. For example, if Mcdonalld’s wanted to start a campaign for a new item on the menu, they would analyze their competitors like Burger King and Carl’s Jr. to see what types of things they do to promote a new menu item. They would also do research on their target audience and develop S.M.A.R.T goals like wanting to sell 5,000 orders of this new menu item within 1 month at a certain location. 

  1. Create Strong Campaign Branding Through Your Materials

Developing branding for a campaign helps create a sense of uniformity throughout the campaign. Having consistent branding and design throughout your campaign will allow people to recognize your brand and therefore have more trust in the campaign. Use the same colors, Use the same fonts, make the layout uniform between each type of material you produce. Banners look the same as the website, as the brochure, as the social media post – they are all similar in look and feel.
