This is the opportunity for everyone in business or employed at a business or a nonprofit to be an active participant in changing your marketing course – and moving up that ladder of success – Content is King!
Content can mean anything that is creative – including text, graphics, images or video.
1. If you run a department maybe it is time you reviewed your website and took a look at how your are talking about what you do in the content area. All of the major search engines have switched to searching for real and organic content – the words you use to describe what you do and who you are – so take a look and get “real.”
2. Keep it fresh, add new things as they become apparent, and talk about the cool stuff you do. Organic content is what the search engines are looking for.
3. Know your keywords that people will use to find you and make sure you are using those words in your content.
Every time someone visits the Uptown Studios website I expect my team to have had some time to review and freshen up the content that describes what their department is doing, and to make sure we are using a voice that is consistent with our brand.
Welcome to our newest Uptown Studios crew member – Luke Miller
Luke is a perfect compliment to our awesome creative crew, he brings his experience with Google AdWords, Search Engine Optimization, copywriting, web development and proofing skills. And skilled he is… On day two he had already mastered our database management system that holds all of our client information and job processes; Luke lead two meetings about Google AdWords and set up one full blown campaign.
Luke is a fabulous “fit” with our culture here at Uptown Studios and we are all loving his input, humor and creativity.
When you need to get some content created you can count on the whole team at Uptown Studios to make sure we are spot on and effective with our communications… as you have heard “Content is King” and the new king in town is Luke Miller.
